Option A: Flat referral fee

- Paid once the client signs on for monthly management

Option B: Revenue share

- Of the monthly management fee, for as long as the client stays
- Better long-term return on a handful of referrals
When revenue share passes the flat fee. On a single-location client at $550/month, 15% is $82.50 per month. After two months that’s $165, already more than the $150 flat fee. Five clients who stay a full year would earn you $4,950 (5 × $990).

Amanda Tento has been managing Google Business Profiles since 2017, back when the platform was still called Google My Business. Since then, she has helped hundreds of local and service-based businesses grow through their Google presence alone.
